The Landmark 81 project, part of the Vinhomes Central Park urban area, developed by Vingroup Group, officially commenced in 2015. From the very beginning, the project was identified not just as a high-rise building, but as a declaration of development:

The construction process, lasting 1,461 days, was a comprehensive challenge regarding:

In 2018, Landmark 81 was officially completed and its first component, Vincom Center Landmark 81, was put into operation. With a height of 461.2 meters, comprising 81 above-ground floors and 3 basement floors, the structure became Vietnam’s tallest building and one of the tallest in Southeast Asia at that time.
By April 2019, the Skyview observation deck (floors 79–81) was further inaugurated, opening up a 360-degree panoramic view of the city – where people can stand at the pinnacle and reflect on their own journey of ascent.

The design of Landmark 81 is inspired by the traditional image of a bamboo bundle – an age-old symbol of Vietnamese culture:

The structure consists of 36 blocks, arranged in a 6×6 matrix, with lower blocks surrounding and taller blocks rising towards the center – embodying the philosophy:
