A 5-section boom with a length of 42m and a lifting capacity of 51 tons is the longest boom currently available in this class. This length meets the demand for lifting at high and distant locations, helping customers complete work more efficiently.
Tadano’s new, easy-to-use AML-C system allows operators to simultaneously monitor the following parameters: boom angle, boom length, lifting cylinder operating pressure, outrigger extension, swing position, rated lifting capacity, and current hook weight.
As a result, AML-C can automatically adjust to load changes without requiring configuration changes or code input, making the lifting process smoother and more efficient.
When operating the crane with asymmetrical outrigger extension, the AML-C system automatically detects the outrigger spread width at the front and rear, as well as the left and right sides of the crane, to optimize the working value in each area.
When swinging the boom from an area with longer outriggers to an area with shorter outriggers, the AML-C automatically detects the movement and displays the maximum load capacity depending on each outrigger spread width, while slowing down the movement before reaching the permissible capacity limit.
Therefore, even if the crane operator does not realize the change in capacity, the AML-C system continuously monitors and ensures safe operation.
The system continuously monitors and displays fuel consumption information on the AML screen. Checking this indicator helps prevent unnecessary acceleration and reduces fuel waste during idling.
The system controls the engine’s maximum speed during crane operation. By limiting unnecessary engine speed increases during excessive acceleration, the system helps reduce CO₂ emissions and fuel consumption by **up to 22%** when using **Eco mode 1**, and **up to 30%** when using **Eco mode 2**.
Additionally, Eco mode helps reduce noise, providing a smooth and environmentally friendly operating experience.
Hello-Net is a standard feature designed to help customers operate cranes efficiently directly from a computer or mobile device. Customers can monitor crane operations, work history, machine location data, and maintenance information. Tadano provides enhanced customer support through the Hello-Net system.
