APPLICATION
Sinopec Engine Oil 15W-40, API GL-4 is suitable for use in:
Heavy-duty diesel engines (HDDE) equipped with emission control systems, such as exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), diesel particulate filters (DPF), or selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems that require low-ash lubricants to meet Euro V and Euro VI emission standards or Australian ADR 80/02 and 80/03 emission criteria.
Heavy-duty diesel engines operating continuously under very high speed, high temperature, or heavy load conditions, including on and off highways, road transport, buses, mining, construction, agriculture, and severe marine applications worldwide.
Fully backward compatible with older heavy-duty diesel engines (HDDE) using conventional designs without emission control systems.
Heavy-duty diesel engines of API CK-4, CJ-4, or ACEAE E7/9 types from America, Europe, and Japan.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
With Hydro Cracking technology formulated from base oils and premium additive packages, Sinopec has produced the most advanced diesel engine oil blend on the market for over a decade:
Long-lasting protection for all components, including DBF and SCR devices, ensuring proven longevity of emission control devices to meet stringent Euro V and Euro VI emission standards.
Super anti-wear characteristics help reduce wear on engine components and effectively extend engine life.
Oxidation resistance and piston deposit control along with dispersant/detergent properties enhance the prevention of sludge and piston deposit formation, keeping the engine clean and reducing energy loss due to friction wear.
High-quality refined base oils and premium viscosity modifiers provide stable shear and prevent viscosity loss caused by molecular shear commonly seen in high-speed diesel engines, extending oil life and ensuring optimal oil film thickness to protect engine components.
High performance in heavy-duty applications even when operating on and off highways.
Extends oil change intervals while increasing protective capabilities, reducing equipment downtime and increasing profitability.
